NORTON GHOST DVD –CD RESTORE INSTRUCTIONS WITH A BOOT-UP FLOPPY:               **** YOUR COMPUTER SHOULD BE OFF !! ****

01- PUT FLOPPY IN DRIVE
02- TURN ON PC.
03- LET IT LOAD UP….THAN CLICK ON  “OK” WHEN NORTON LOADS UP.

               **** NOW USE YOUR MOUSE OR THE ARROW KEYS ****

04- NOW PUT DVD CD BACKUP #1 IN DVD PLAYER OR DVD BURNER

  >>>>>>>WAIT! <<<<<<<   FOR LIGHT ON DRIVE TO TURN OFF.

 **** NOTE IF IT SEEMS THE DRIVE CANT  READ THE DVD—CD,  THAN OPEN DRIVE (TAKE CD OUT) THAN TRY AGAIN.

05- CLICK ON >> “LOCAL”      THAN ON >> “DISK”   THAN ON >> “FROM IMAGE”.
06- AT THE TOP CLICK ON THE BLACK DOWN ARROW,  THAN PICK YOUR  DVD PLAYER OR DVD BURNER.
07- NOW AT BOTTOM FILE NAME WILL SAY “ Ghost CD/DVD Image”.     NOW CLICK ON “OPEN”
08- AT LOCAL DESTINATION DRIVE BOX CLICK ON “OK”.
09- AT DRIVE DETAILS BOX CLICK ON “OK”

NOW! ** AT THE “PROCEED WITH DISK RESTORE. CLICK ON “YES” !!!!!!!!!!!   -------   DONE!

         CLICK ON “NO” IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND. TO RESTORE YOUR COMPUTER FOR LATER RESTORE.  
             

How to make your Norton BOOT-UP Floppy:   [ PLEASE COPY OF PRINT THIS PAGE! ]         Note:

There are a few files that are hidden you need to see them so you can copy them. Once you do, make sure to put the folder options back to normal!.

Click on "Floder options" found in your control panel. / click on "View TAB" [ ON! Scroll down and un-check these two options.

"Hide extensions for know file types" and "Hide protected operating system files"

Note: After you click ok, click on "Yes" on the [ Warning ] box that will open up. / NOW! Copy all the Files to a floppy.

-Thats it! your done!. Now you may BOOT your PC with Norton Ghost.
